Zion Williamson injury update: Pelicans star to miss multiple weeks after All-Star Game with hamstring strain

Zion Williamson is expected to miss several weeks after the All-Star break with a hamstring strain, New Orleans Pelicans vice president David Griffin told reporters Sunday. Williamson has been sidelined with a hamstring strain since January and was expected to be re-evaluated during the All-Star break. However, it appears his return will be a little bit further down the line after aggravating it.  Williamson was named an All-Star starter for the Feb. 19 game due to his performance prior to the injury. But given he won't be available to participate, NBA commissioner Adam Silver announced that Domantas Sabonis will fill the starting role in the frontcourt in place of the Pelicans forward.  Williamson suffered a right hamstring strain during a Jan. 2 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. Stephen Curry injury update: Warriors star to miss multiple weeks after hurting left leg, per report

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is expected to miss multiple weeks with a left leg injury , according to Shams Charania. An exact diagnosis is still to be determined, and could take a few days to figure out, per Anthony Slater.  Curry suffered the injury on Saturday night during the Warriors' 119-113 win over the Dallas Mavericks, who were playing without Luka Doncic.  During the third quarter, Curry was trying to defend a drive by young Mavericks guard Jaden Hardy, when the two appeared to knock knees. Curry's leg buckled inward and he left the game to head to the locker room. Curry underwent an MRI on Sunday that revealed he avoided serious structural damage in his lower left knee, per C.J.
