Alexis Sánchez secures Champions League record

Alexis Sánchez is smiling again in the Champions League. The forward was a starter for Inter Milan in Tuesday’s early UEFA fixture against Salzburg in group D, and didn’t take long to get himself on the scoresheet.

Sánchez clear of Vidal

On the 19th minute, Sánchez, assisted by Frattesi, beat the keeper from close range. The Giuseppe Meazza exploded and the attacker became the Chilean with the most goals in the History of the Champions League, with 16. He had been tied with Arturo Vidal on 15.
