Best NBA Parlay Picks Today, Friday 1/5: 3-Leg Parlay at mega +993 odds – Knicks take down the MVP Embiid

What a night it promises to be in the Association as 26 teams hit the NBA hardwood. I’m coming off a +404 odds Nuggets vs Warriors Same Game Parlay Winner, hoping to keep the momentum going with another NBA Mega Parlay. As always, I’ve settled for 3 selections, continue reading below to see them.

I would also encourage you to head over to our NBA predictions page for picks on the side and total for Friday’s Games.

Now let’s dive into my bet!

NY Knicks ML (+200)

Over 218.5 Points in Timberwolves vs Rockets (-110)

ORL Magic +10 (-110)

Parlay odds: +993

NY Knicks ML vs PHI 76ers (+200)

The OG Anunoby era is off to a fabulous start and if you are a Knicks fan you must be feeling yourself right now. New York heads into Wells Fargo Center after back-to-back wins and both Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson are in solid scoring form after each of them went for 30+ against Chicago on Wednesday. In my opinion after this latest trade these two teams are evenly matched and this game should go down the wire.

And that’s one of the areas where the Sixers are lacking this season. In 12 clutch Games they’re just 5-7 SU with a defensive rating of 122.2 which is only 25th best in the NBA. Meanwhile, the Knicks have the 4th best offensive rating in clutch Games this season at 126.4, players like Brunson are capable of stepping up and knocking down big time shots. Combine that with the perimeter defense Anunoby has brought in, I have high hopes for the Knicks in this Game so let’s back them to win outright.

Over 218.5 Points in Timberwolves vs Rockets (-110)

Whenever I see a projected total this low, I just cannot resist backing the over. Teams are scoring at a historic pace this season and although the Timberwolves and Rockets are in the bottom 10 in that metric, I still feel like the number is too low here. Especially since the last 10 meetings between the two teams are averaging 232.6 points per game and 7 of the last 9 have all seen more than 219 points.

Minnesota also fancies the over quite a lot in road Games this season, they are 11-6 on the O/U in those Games, one of the more consistent marks in the NBA. The Rockets have slipped a little defensively in their last 5 Games allowing an average of 119.4 points per Game, a team like Minnesota should be able to take advantage of that. In the last meeting at Toyota Center we saw a final score of 119-114 and with so much offensive talent on both squads, I think backing the points is the way to go here.

ORL Magic +10 vs DEN Nuggets (-110)

I was debating whether not to go with an outright win for Orlando here, but in the end I settled for them to cover the spread. The Magic are double-digit underdogs which is a lot against a team that just played last night. Coming back from 16 points down with around 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter has cost Denver a ton of energy, so I think Orlando could benefit from that. In total 3 Nuggets starters played 35+ minutes last night, with Nikola Jokic logging 38 as he knocked down the game winning three off the glass.

Orlando actually won the first meeting between the two teams this season 124-119 back in late November, interestingly enough they were playing that game as a 2nd night of a back-to-back. It was their 2nd win in a row in head-to-head meetings, and the 6th game in a row vs Denver in which they covered the spread. This team is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 on the road overall, despite all the injuries right now I feel like they’ll be able to keep things close. Denver is 6-2 SU in games played with no rest, however only 1 of those wins was by more than 9 points.
